Workers accidentally left our front door open, and our cat got out.
Within minutes we were posting everywhere: Facebook groups, neighborhood apps, lost pet websites, handmade flyers, shelters. Every place had different rules, different people, and different information.
We found him later that night. But one question stayed with me:
Why is finding one lost pet spread across so many places?
